All members of AABMS in good standing shall be eligible for any position on the Board. A majority vote by members in good standing shall be required for election. Officers shall serve for a renewable term of two (2) years. Officers are limited to 4 terms (8 years).
AABMS Bylaws
The “ Executive Board” shall be (at minimum) a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Outreach Membership Chair, Committee Chair, and By-Laws Chair. As funding and other resources allow, additional members may be added to the Executive Board to meet the needs of the organization
Send an email to the AABMS ad hoc elections committee chair (hughesk7@uc.edu) expressing intent to run for office no later than Friday, July 1st
Please include your CV or a Candidate Statement (briefly explaining why you are a good fit for the role)
Present to AABMS Members, during July’s General Body Meeting, making a case for why you are the best candidate for the position (2 minutes max)
If you wish to withdraw your candidacy, please notify the AABMS ad hoc committee chair (hughesk7@uc.edu) no later than Friday, July 15th, 2022
AABMS members will cast their votes via MS Forms, a link will be sent to you via email!
Elections will open on Monday, July 18th, 2022, and close on Sunday, July 24th, 2022Members will have 7 days to cast their votes
Election results will be announced on Tuesday, July 26th, 2022
Newly Elected officers will take office during the next Executive Board Meeting in August of 2022!
