UC Sigma Xi Chapter receives Excellence Award for 2022
UC Sigma Xi Fall Mixer to take place on 10/27 at 4:30pm in Mantei Center 427. New members will be recognized and keynote talks provided by our Grants In Aid of Research winners.
The annual Spring Mixer and Young Investigator Awardee lecture was held on March 10 using the online platform Wonder.me.
The 2020-2021 Executive Committee will be composed of 14 individuals, with representation from UC faculty, faculty at other local universities, scientists at the EPA, graduate and undergraduate students.
The annual Spring Mixer and Young Investigator Awardee lecture will be on Thursday, March 12th at 4:30pm in ERC 427. Free food and drink will be served. Members and non-members are welcome!
Fall Mixer with GIAR Winner Presentations
The 2019 chapter general election resulted in a full executive committee slate and updates to the chapter bylaws.
Prof. Adam Kiefer, the 2019 Sigma Xi Young Investigator Awardee will provide the keynote talk at the UC Chapter Spring Mixer. The event is free and open to all.
These awards are funded by our local UC Chapter of Sigma Xi, the UC Office of Research, and The Graduate School.

The Young Investigator Award recognizes excellence in research by a junior faculty member and UC’s chapter of Sigma Xi has been making the award since 1982. Richardson is being honored for his cutting-edge research at the nexus of experimental psychology, cognitive neuroscience, biokinetics, and human-robotic interaction.
